Wandering The West

     Howdy! So glad you stopped by! My name is Julie Moore, the owner of Wandering J Photography. I am a Commercial, Editorial and Lifestyle photographer located in eastern Montana. My work has been published in the AQHA Journal, Cowboys and Indians Magazine, Western Horseman, and Working Ranch Magazine. I provide western brands with authentic imagery as I Wander the West.

 

     I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2016 with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science: Production and Management. From there, I moved to Nevada, Nebraska, Wyoming, and now my husband's home state of Montana. I spent four years working in the ranch and feedlot industry. My interest in photography began the summer of 2015. I worked on a ranch in Nevada. I spent the following two summers in Nevada as well. I always saw my surroundings and work "in pictures." At the time, taking many cellphone pictures. I got my first camera in July of 2017. In 2019, I began selling my western lifestyle photography as canvases and prints. I established Wandering J Photography in January of 2020. I have now taken photos for brands like; Impact Gel, Outback Trading Company, Rod's Western Palace, Serratelli Hat Company, Weaver Leather, and many others.
